Where and when

Bring food donations to WAFER, 403 Causeway Blvd., LA Crosse WI during business hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 12:45 pm and Monday,Tuesday and Thursday 4:00 pm to 7:45 pm. Let us know if you need an immediate receipt.

  

Our Most Urgent Needs

Both nonperishable and non-food items are accepted, but all must be unopened, with the exception of fresh produce.

Peanut Butter                   Canned Meat
Tuna                                   Rice, "Helper" Mixes
Spaghetti Sauce              Pasta
Soups & Crackers           Hot or Cold Cereals
Canned Fruit                     Macaroni & Cheese

Help make someone’s meals even better by donating these items:

Ketchup                     Mustard
Mayonniase              Pickles
Salad dressing        Cooking oils
Soy sauce                 Hot sauce
Ground coffee

While many WAFER clients depend on Food Share, it does not buy toilettires or household essentials. Please consider donating any of the following items:

Toilet paper                Toothpaste
Toothbrushes            Shampoo & conditioner
Dish soap                   Laundry detergent
Diapers & wipes       Tissues
Deodorant.                 Feminine hygiene items

WAFER feeds minds as well as stomachs; books and magazines can be donated!

Monetary donations can be brought or sent to WAFER, 403 Causeway Blvd.,

La Crosse WI 54603. Thank you letters and tax letters are sent out quarterly. However, you can request an immediate receipt. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss endowments or any planned giving.

Fall Harvest will soon be here and with it comes the opportunity to help our clients eat more nutritiously.
